1st Day: Arrival
Arrival by your own by train or by car to Schwarzenberg in the Erzgebirge, parking lot at the hotel, during the hiking tour for free, garage for a fee.
2nd Day: Hiking around Schwarzenberg
Ride with the public bus to Aue. Hiking along the Schneeberger Floßgraben to Bockau. From there to the NSG Conradswiese and across the Morgenleithe forward to Schwarzenberg. Visitation of the church and the castle museum (approx. 19 km, heigth 230 m, 5 hours).
3rd Day: Hiking to Oberwiesenthal
Ride with the public bus to Rittersgrün, visitation of the railway museum. Afterwards hiking to Ehrenzipfel and from there on the Anton-Günther-Way, alongside the Pöhlwasser, until Tellerhäuser and then on the Börnerway to the Fichtelberg. With the cable railway down to Oberwiesenthal (approx. 16 km, heigth 620 m, 5 hours).
4th Day: Narrow gauge railway, hiking to Satzung
From Oberwiesenthal with the historical narrow gauge railway to Cranzahl. From there hiking to the dam and forward on the Bärenstein. Afterwards down to the railway station of Bärenstein and from there on with the taxi bus to Jöhstadt. Quiet hiking through the romantic Schwarzwassertal to Schmalzgrube and climb to the high plateau from Satzung, detour to the basalt branch heading (approx. 18 km, heigth 550 m, 6 hours).
5th Day: Hiking in the valley of the black Pockau
With the taxi bus to Reitzenhain, from there hiking trip through the moorland of the high plateau of Kühnhaide in the valley of the black Pockau and forward on the Grünen-Graben-Way to the Katzensteinfelsen. Down to Pobershau to the visitor's mine "Tiefer Molchner Stolln". After visitation on a short way back to the hotel in Schwarzwassertal (18 km, heigth 60 m, 5 hours).
6th Day: Hiking to Seiffen
Hiking through the Rungstocktal to the open-air museum Saigerhütte in Olbernhau. After visitation with the public bus to Seiffen, one of the most famous places in the Erzgebirge with a grand tradition in timber carving. Visit of a demonstration workshop and the museum for folk art of the Erzgebirge (approx. 15 km, heigth 270 m, 5 hours).
7th Day: Hiking to the dam of Rauschenbach
Firstly across the Schwartenberg and to Neuhausen in the local nutcracker museum. After visitation forwardto the dam Rauschenbach and thence back to the hotel to Seiffen (approx. 18 km, heigth 80 m, 5 hours).
8th Day: Trip home
Trip home by rail or trip back by rail to Schwarzenberg to the there parked car.

Individual hiking tours in Germany can be hiked at the stated times without a hiking guide, also by individuals. We provide you with all of the necessary materials, such as hiking map, tour description, etc.
Guided hiking tours in Germany differ from the individual tours in that an experienced guide with local knowledge accompanies you during the entire tour.
On our fixed quarters tours you start out on a hike every day from your fixed quarters, on a route that will lead you back to your hotel. We arrange all necessary transfers, which are usually provided by the local hotels.
