Palatine Forest Trail, 1st section, 4 stages
Day 1: Arrival in Trippstadt
Day 2: Kaiserslautern – Trippstadt (22 km, 480 m ascent)
Day 3: Trippstadt – Heltersberg (22 km, 340 m ascent)
Day 4. Heltersberg – Rodalben (18 km, 490 m ascent)
Day 5: Rodalben – Merzalben (15 km, 300 m ascent)
Day 6: Departure from Rodalben or rest day, or continue hiking
Palatine Forest Trail, 2nd section, 4 stages
Day 1: Arrival in Rodalben
Day 2: Merzalben – Hauenstein (19 km, 480 m ascent)
Day 3: Hauenstein – Dahn (18 km, 530 m ascent)
Day 4. Dahn – Erlenbach (18 km, 570 m ascent)
Day 5: Erlenbach – Schweigen (18 km, 550 m ascent)
Day 6: Departure from Schweigen
If both sections are booked together, there will be a rest day between the two sections. This rest day is included in the price, but may be omitted, with a corresponding price reduction.
Arrival:
Arrival at both sections every Saturday or Sunday.
First arrival in April, last arrival at the end of November
Arrival also possible on any other day by prior arrangement.
By car or rail to the first hotel on the tour. Parking spaces will be allocated by the respective hotel, parking in some cases subject to a fee.
Rail travellers can take a taxi from Kaiserslautern Railway Station to the hotel, or if arriving in Rodalben, the hotel is within walking distance (or by taxi for ca. 5 EUR).
Departure:
By rail: Return home from Rodalben or Wissembourg Railway Station
By car: Return to your car at the first hotel by rail from Rodalben or Wissembourg Railway Station

Individual hiking tours in Germany can be hiked at the stated times without a hiking guide, also by individuals. We provide you with all of the necessary materials, such as hiking map, tour description, etc.
Guided hiking tours in Germany differ from the individual tours in that an experienced guide with local knowledge accompanies you during the entire tour.
On our fixed quarters tours you start out on a hike every day from your fixed quarters, on a route that will lead you back to your hotel. We arrange all necessary transfers, which are usually provided by the local hotels.
