Day 3: Dammhaus - Brocken (21 km, 550 m ascent)
Day 4. Brocken - Königshütte (16 km, 50 m ascent)
Day 5: Königshütte - Altenbrak (22 km), 140 m ascent
Day 6: Altenbrak - Thale (14 km, 200 m ascent)
Day 7: Departure from Thale or return to Osterode
7 days Harzer-Hexen-Stieg WITHOUT Brocken (5 stages)
Day 1: Arrival in Osterode
Day 2: Osterode - Dammhaus (21 km, 380 m ascent)
Day 3: Dammhaus - St. Andreasberg (24 km, 430 m ascent)
Day 4. St. Andreasberg - Königshütte (21 km, 260 m ascent)
Day 5: Königshütte - Altenbrak (22 km), 140 m ascent
Day 6: Altenbrak - Thale (14 km, 200 m ascent)
Day 7: Departure from Thale or return to Osterode
Arrival for all options each Sunday

Arrival:
By car or rail to Osterode am Harz, car park near the hotel. Rail travellers arrive at Osterode-Mitte Railway Station and take a taxi to the hotel.
Departure:
By rail: Return home from Thale Railway Station
By car: Return to your car, two options:
a) by rail from Thale to Osterode
b) comfortably by taxi back to Osterode.

Individual hiking tours in Germany can be hiked at the stated times without a hiking guide, also by individuals. We provide you with all of the necessary materials, such as hiking map, tour description, etc.
Guided hiking tours in Germany differ from the individual tours in that an experienced guide with local knowledge accompanies you during the entire tour.
On our fixed quarters tours you start out on a hike every day from your fixed quarters, on a route that will lead you back to your hotel. We arrange all necessary transfers, which are usually provided by the local hotels.
