1st day: Arrival at the Tegernsee

Individual journey by car or train to Tegernsee.

2nd day: From Tegernsee to Schliersee

Start in the village of Tegernsee and ascent to the famous Neureuth Hut. Via a variant of the famous Prinzenweg via the Gindelalm and the Auer Berg to the Huberspitzhaus. From here down the valley to the Schliersee (approx. 13 km, 500 m).

3rd day: From Schliersee via Wendelstein to Bayrischzell

From Schliersee a bit by bus to Aurach. From here hike to Fischbachau, passing the famous Birkenstein. Over alpine pastures up to the summit with a fantastic panoramic view of the Alps. Take the cable car back to the valley and to the destination Bayrischzell (approx. 12 km, approx. 1,000 m)
Alternative: Aschau - Bayrischzell (approx. 10 km, approx. 200 hm) Short bus ride to Aschau, from here walk to Birkenstein and at the foot of the Wendelstein to Bayrischzell. Ascent to the summit with the Wendelstein cable car possible.

4th day: From Bayrischzell to Thiersee

Short transfer from Bayrischzell to the starting point. From here hike over the Nesselberg to the border of Bavaria and Austria/Tyrol. Continue on to the Mariandlalm, then with a steady view of the Wilder Kaiser via the Traisenalm leisurely to Hinterthiersee (approx. 17 km, approx. 1,000 Hm).

5th day: From Thiersee to Kufstein

Today's stage leads over the Thiersee, Längsee and the Hechtsee to the pearl of the Inn - Kufstein. Here it is definitely worth visiting the fortress and the largest open-air organ in the world (approx. 19 km, approx. 400 Hm).

6th day: From Kufstein to Ellmau

From Kufstein with the Kaiserlift to the Brentenjoch. Follow the trail of the Adlerweg to the Kaindlhütte and continue via the Walleralm along the side of the Wilder Kaiser to the home of the "Bergdoktor" to Ellmau (approx. 22 km, approx. 700 m).
Comfortable alternative: From the Walleralm to the Hintersteinersee (approx. 11 km, approx. 400 m), free bus shuttle from the Hintersteinersee to Scheffau and further to Ellmau .

7th day: From Ellmau to Kitzbühel

Start over the local mountain to Reith near Kitzbühel It soon becomes clear why high society has found its second home here. Over the Gieringer Weiher and the Schwarzsee to the legendary Gams- and sports town Kitzbühel. (approx. 15 km, 650 Hm).

8th day: Return transfer and departure or extension

Return transfer from Kitzbühel to Tegernsee,
from there individual journey home.
