The path through the gently rolling landscape along the Rhine rift between the Black Forest and the Vosges leads through vineyards, orchards, lovely forests and picturesque wine villages. The short stages of between 10-15 km give you the opportunity to take a break and enjoy (life) at beautiful vantage points or the typical Straußenwirtschaften (wine taverns). During the flood of 2021, some sections of the AhrSteig along the Ahr were destroyed. Due to repairs and also diversions on other attractive sections of the trail, the AhrSteig is now hikable again without interruption. We have updated our previous package offer accordingly! Bookings are possible again -for 2024!
