Day 1 Tuesday or Wednesday: Arrival and Premium Trail Heiligenberg
Arrival each Tuesday or Wednesday from April to October ONLY with your own car!! at the Jausenstation Weißenbach, free parking at the guest house (ca. 50 m from the Jausenstation), after occupying your room you will have enough time for a hike on the Premium Trail Heiligenberg (ca. 7 km),
You will need your own car to take you to and from the daily circular hikes. At present there is hardly any public transport on the Hoher Meißner!
Day 2 Wednesday or Thursday: Premium Trail Hoher Meißner
The Premium Trail P1 Hoher Meißner tour leads to the most beautiful destinations on the Hoher Meißner and to the fairy-tale Frau-Holle sites. Species-rich, colourful mountain meadows and large fields of basalt rocks surprise you along the route, as well as sublime views and insights into the geologically interesting origins of the mountain, where brown coal was mined until the 1970s. A rest in the mountain guesthouse, with its magnificent views, rounds off the exciting hike. Premium Trail Hoher Meißner, ca. 13 km, ca. 500 m ascent
Day 3 Thursday or Friday: Premium Trail Frankenhäuser Karst
The Premium Trail P2 Frankenhäuser Karst is located at the eastern foothills of the Meißner, at the foot of the Hohe Meißner. It has wonderful panoramic views and leads to botanic delicacies, through the Hielöcher Nature Reserve, to the Ellerstein and to the Großer Marstein, through Fuldflur to the Alter Teich and the impressive natural monument Mühlstein near Wolfterode. Day 4 Friday or Saturday: Premium Trail Höllental
From the church ruins of Abterode, this hiking trail leads through the Kupferbachtal to the Iberg, after a descent into the valley there is another climb to the castle ruins of Bilstein, from there back down to the Gustav Mine, which is open to visitors, and after another ascent to the Krösselberg, the varied hike ends at the starting point in Abterode. Premium Trail Höllental, ca. 10 km, ca. 490 m ascent
Day 5 Saturday or Sunday: Premium Trail Wacholderpfad Roßbach
The Wacholderpfad (Juniper Trail) links several juniper heaths that contain botanical rarities, and leads continuously uphill and downhill past fields with rare wild herbs, to the Hesselberg with glorious distant views to Kaufunger Forest, before following a detour to the lost stream and back to Roßbach. Premium Trail Wachholderpfad, ca. 12 km, ca. 390 m ascent.
Day 6 Sunday or Monday: Return home

Individual hiking tours in Germany can be hiked at the stated times without a hiking guide, also by individuals. We provide you with all of the necessary materials, such as hiking map, tour description, etc.
Guided hiking tours in Germany differ from the individual tours in that an experienced guide with local knowledge accompanies you during the entire tour.
On our fixed quarters tours you start out on a hike every day from your fixed quarters, on a route that will lead you back to your hotel. We arrange all necessary transfers, which are usually provided by the local hotels.
