Day 1: Arrival

Arrival as a group in a minibus from Dillenburg via the A4 Eisenach-Dresden-Görlitz, in Poland as far as southern Wrocław, then on the highway via Ząbkowice Śląskie to the hotel in Lipová-lázně, collection on the route possible upon request (ca. 800 km).

Day 2: Hike to the mineral springs

Gentle ascent from the hotel and hike through a forest with some pretty views of Jeskyně Na Pomezí, continue there on a ridgeway to Priessnitz Sanatorium and a break, before returning down to the hotel in Jeseník. After a small tour, return to Lipová-lázně by rail (ca. 13 km, 4 hours).

Day 3: Hike in the High Ash Mountains

By bus to the start above Klepáčov (850 m), first a long and vigorous climb to the Ztracené kameny (1,250 m), then along the ridge and with glorious views of the Břidličná (1,358 m), to the peaks Jelení hřbet (1,367 m), Velký Máj (1,384 m) and to the Vysoká hole (1,464 m), descent to Ovčárna (1,250 m), and a break (ca. 13 km, 5 hours), return by bus to the hotel.

Day 4: Hike to the Praděd peak

By bus to the starting point on the Červenohorské sedlo or Rotenberg Pass (1,000 m), climb to the Keiligberg, then over the Uhustein (1,167 m) to the Švýcarna, an old mountain hut, from there along an asphalt path up to the Praděd peak (1,492 m, highest mountain in Moravia), after a deserved break return down to Ovčárna (ca. 16 km, 5 hours), and back to the hotel by bus.

5. Tag: Hike to the Šerák

Bus transfer in the morning to the start on the Červenohorské sedlo or Rotenberg Pass, from there on the E3 to the Vřesová studánka, a holy spring to which there is a pilgrimage each year on 22 July. Then on to Keprník (1,423 m), with a beautiful panoramic view, then to the St. George Hut on the Šerák (1,351 m). After a break in this traditional, 120 year-old guest house, return by chair lift to Ramzová, and by rail back to the hotel (ca. 12 km, 4½ hours).

Day 6: Hike to Staré Město

BY rail to the start in Ramzová, hike on the long-distance hiking trail E3, first to Petříkov and to Paprsek Mountain Hotel (Schronisko Dom Śląski or Schlesierhaus), where the High Ash Mountains, the Golden Mountains and the Králický Sněžník Mountains (or Grulicher Schneegebirge) meet. After a break the hike continues to Palais Mountain (1,030 m), with a wonderful view of Staré Město (ca. 15 km, 5 hours). By rail to Hanušovice, where our bus will be waiting to bring you back to the hotel (possibly also entire return journey by rail).

Day 7: Wrocław

After breakfast we take the bus via Głuchołazy across the border into Poland and on to Wrocław (ca. 2-hour journey). After occupying your hotel room, a two-hour tour of the Old Town, followed by an enjoyable conclusion to the hiking tour in a traditional restaurant on the Main Market Square. Accommodation in Hotel Mercure Wrocław in the city centre.

Day 8: Journey home

The return by minibus from Wrocław to Dillenburg or to the respective drop-off points begins in the morning.
