Sunday: Arrival

Arrival by own arrangement by car to the hotel in Lüsen above Brixen, free parking. When arriving by rail, disembark at Brixen (Bressanone), collection by the hotel or by taxi (45 EUR per trip, preregistration necessary). Welcome session in the evening with an aperitif and presentation of the week’s programme.

Daily guided hikes, easy to moderate!
The following hikes are merely examples and will be adapted or adjusted depending on the weather and the season.
It is also possible to go on individual hikes, hiking maps and advice available in the hotel.
Alternatively, you are free to plan your day individually!

Monday:

With the public bus to Pè de Börz - uphill Maurerberghütte, over the southern ridge to the summit (2.333 m) - downhill away from it all for lunch in the in-house Maurerbergalm (alternative: easy pleasure hike to the alpine pasture)
(approx. 450 Hm, 3.5 hours)

Tuesday:

Public bus to the Herol car park, hike with herbalist Herta via the Lüsner Alm to the Kreuzwiesenalm with a stop for refreshments - descent via the Gargitthof or, on request, pick-up at the Schweiger Böden car park
(approx. 400 Hm, 3 hours)

Wednesday:

Transfer to the parking Schweiger Böden to the sunrise on the campground - return via the Kreuzwiesenalm with the possibility of an alpine breakfast (extra charge 15,00 €) - back to the parking lot and return to the hotel
(approx. 390 Hm, 3 hours)

Thursday: High Mountain Hike

Transfer to below the Vielzirmalm (1,850 m), hike to the Alm and to the Großer Gabler (2,570 m), summit snack with South Tyrolean specialities, return to the lake at Messner Joch and transfer back to the hotel (ca. 700 m ascent, 4½ hours)

Friday:

Transfer to the Würzjoch (1998 m), over soft alpine meadows, steeply up to the Peitlerscharte (2357 m), further on the southern slope to the small peak, snack with South Tyrolean specialities (costs: 20,00 €)
(approx. 900 Hm, 5 hrs.)

Saturday: Hike to the Kreuzjoch in the Villnößtal

After a transfer to Villnößtal, ascent from Zans (1,680 m) via Tschantschenon to the Kreuzjoch (2,293 m), steep climb to the Bronsoijoch (2,421 m) and back down via the Schlüterhütte to the Kaserillalm and lunch (ca. 720 m ascent, 5 hours).

Sunday: Return home by own arrangement
