The multifaceted Lahn valley on partly lonely, natural paths.

The Lahn Hiking Trail leads through the diverse Lahn Valley, from the source in the Rothaar Mountains to where it joins the Rhine at Niederlahnstein, on varied trails with many pretty viewpoints, conveying calm and pure nature, at times on lonely, untouched paths.

Lots of rural landscape, but also picturesque villages and towns with their special features tempt you onto this tour of discovery.

The Lahn Hiking Trail is characterised by varied and idyllic stages, also leading through vineyards along the Lahn, a small yet very fine wine-growing region.

A highly recommended and contemplative multi-stage hike, either with alternating hotels and luggage transfer

Day 1: Arrival at the hotel in Bad Laasphe
Day 2: Lahnquelle - Bad Laasphe (20 km, 750 m ascent)
Day 3: Bad Laasphe - Biedenkopf (20 km, 600 m ascent)
Day 4: Biedenkopf - Rimberg (23 km, 850 m ascent)
Day 5: Rimberg - Marburg (19 km, 410 m ascent)
Day 6: Marburg - Niederwalgern (18 km, 480 m ascent)
Day 7: Departure from Marburg

Hike from Niederwalgern to Aumenau (ca. 100 km)
