5 days with guided hiking in Western Forest

With guide on selected hiking trails in Western Forest near Dillenburg!

Day 1: Arrival

Arrival at the hotel in Dillenburg Free indoor parking at the hotel, by train to Dillenburg station, from there a short taxi ride to the hotel (500 m). After occupying your room at 4 pm starts a guided tour to get to know the historical town.

Day 2: Hike from the Westerwald to Dillenburg

At 9:00 am transfer to Rabenscheid, a small town in the high Westerwald, from there guided hike on the Rothaarsteig thru the Aubach Valley to the Wildweiberhäuschen, there Picknick, after that to the view point Kornberg near Donsbach, then with nice views back to Dillenburg approx. 19 km, 150 m ascent

Day 3: Hike to the Krombach water dam

At 9:30 am transfer to Rehe in Westerwald, from there guided hike on the Wäller Weg to the Krombach water dam, then ascent to the Oberroder Knoten, a nice view point , further to the Adolf-Weiss-Monument and Picknick, after that to the watefall of nenderoth, there pickup and transfer back to Dillenburg, on the way stop and short visit in a Alpine hut with great view, approx. 16 km, 260 m ascent

Day 4: Hike thru the Lahn-Dill-Bergland

Transfer to Sinn at 9:00 a.m. and guided hike through the Dernbach meadows and across the Hörre. After a picnic, continue on the Lahn-Dill-Bergland path through forests past Nesselhofponds. Then to the Isabellenhütte and the Bismarcktempel back to the old town of Dillenburg, approx. 19 km, 290 m ascent

Day 5: Return home

Return home from Dillenburg by own arrangement.
Rail travellers: brief taxi ride to the station.
