Day 2: Wilhelmshöhe – Kalte Herberge (21 km, 230 m ascent)
Day 3: Kalte Herberge – Titisee (20 km, 220 m ascent)
Day 4: Titisee – Feldberg – Notschrei (24 km, 830 m ascent)
Day 5: Notschrei – Haldenhof (18 km, 620 m ascent)
Day 6: Haldenhof – Kandern (20 km, 320 m ascent)
Day 7: Kandern – Basel (26 km, 230 m ascent)

Section C: Pforzheim – Alexanderschanze (5 stages)
Day 1: Arrival in Pforzheim (Wednesday, Thursday or Friday only!)
if arrival on other days, hike on day 3 will be 25 kms!
Day 2: Pforzheim – Dreimarkstein (21 km, 440 m ascent)
Day 3: Dreimarkstein – Kaltenbronn (18 km, 220 m ascent)
Day 4: Kaltenbronn – Sand (22 km, 710 m ascent)
Day 5: Sand – Mummelsee (12 km, 410 m ascent)
Day 6: Mummelsee – Alexanderschanze (21 km, 140 m ascent)
Day 7: Departure from Kniebis or rest day or continue hiking

Section D: Alexanderschanze – Titisee (5 stages)
Day 1: Arrival in Kniebis
Day 2: Alexanderschanze – Hark (17 km, ¬180 m ascent)
Day 3: Hark – Hausach (17 km, 300 m ascent)
Day 4: Hausach – Wilhelmshöhe (20 km, ¬990 m ascent)
Day 5: Wilhelmshöhe – Kalte Herberge (21 km, 230 m ascent)
Day 6: Kalte Herberge – Titisee (21 km, 220 m ascent)

Section E: Titisee – Basel (5 stages)
Day 1: Arrival in Titisee
Day 2: Titisee – Seebuck (15 km, ¬550 m ascent)
Day 3: Seebuck – Feldberg – Wiedener Eck (15 km, 280 m ascent)
Day 4: Wiedener Eck – Müllheimer Egerten (20 km, 720 m ascent)
Day 5: Müllheimer Egerten – Wollbach (20 km, 220 m ascent)
Day 6: Wollbach – Basel (20 km, 230 m ascent)
Day 7: Departure from Basel/Weil am Rhein

Arrival

May to October each Saturday or Sunday
Section C arrival only MON/TUE/WED/THU
Partial sections or overlapping sections can also be booked.
If several sections are booked together, there will be a rest day between two sections.
This rest day is included in the price, but may be omitted, with a corresponding price reduction.

Arrival at the Western Trail

By car or rail to the first hotel on the tour in Pforzheim, Schonach, Kniebis or Titisee (depending on the section booked)
Parking spaces at the hotels in some cases free of charge, in other cases subject to a fee.
Rail travellers may collected from the station or can take a taxi from the station to the hotel. (Details in the travel documents).

Departure from the Western Trail

By rail:
Return home from the railway station at the last stage of the respective tour

By car:
Return to your car by public transport (bus and rail)
