
Black Forest Bad Peterstal-Griesbach

Day 1: Arrival
Arrival by own arrangement by rail or car to the hotel in Bad Peterstal-Griesbach in the Black Forest. Free parking at the hotel, rail travellers will be collected by the hotel from Bad Peterstal-Griesbach Railway Station (Schwarzwald).
Day 2: Leisure Path Griesbacher Wiesensteig
Along ca. 11 km, this premium loop trail leads through the wild and romantic gorge of the Wilder Rench, through luscious green Black Forest mountain pastures with glorious views and untouched paths. Several benches invite you to relax and enjoy the view (ca. 11 km, 650 m ascent, 4½ hours).
Day 3: Leisure Path Himmelsteig
A hike that awakens a desire for adventure! Various sections of the Himmelsteig wind upwards along narrow paths, then back down through the forests, passing an enchanted mountain stream valley, the Holchen Waterfall, and the impressively steep Himmelsfels. The route is challenging, but soft forest and meadow paths, as well as the many benches, allow you to quickly forget the strenuous ascents (ca. 11 km, 600 m ascent, 4½ hours).
Day 4: Peterstaler Schwarzwaldsteig
The hike goes over boulders along the streambed of the Rench, while the ascent through the Bästenbach Valley is rewarded with impressive views into the valley and panoramic views of the Black Forest. The magnificent nature makes this looped hike a real treat (ca. 11 km, 700 m ascent, 4½ hours).
Day 5: Glaswaldsee hiking tour
Transfer by hotel hiking shuttle up to the Alexanderschanze at an altitude of 990 m, from there, first along the Westweg,
then on various panoramic paths to the Glaswaldsee. A steep climb leads up to the level of the lake, then via the Badkanzel down to Bad Peterstal, now only 4 km back to the hotel, either along the banks of the Rench or by bus (ca. 20/16 km, 440/360 m ascent, 6/5 hours).
Day 6: All Saints Waterfalls
Magnificent views, imposing rock formations, hidden power spots and a waterfall in pristine nature. and a waterfall in pristine nature, there is much to discover on this hiking tour, there is a lot to discover. From the summer ski jump to the waterfall, uphill to the Sexauer Hütte, over adventurous paths to the Teufelskanzel and on to the Marienruhe lookout point, here a wonderful mountain panorama at an altitude of 900 m. Zigzag back to the Haberer Turm, where today's tour ends. (approx. 7 km, 380 hm, 3 hrs)
Day 7: Teufelskanzelsteig (Devil's Pulpit Rock)
from there with impressive views of the Rhine plain to the Schliffkopf and on to the Allerheiligen monastery ruins, here begins the descent to the Allerheiligen waterfalls, The hike ends there, then by bus via Oppenau back to the hotel. (approx. 15 km, 330 hm, 5 hrs)
Day 8: Return home
Return home by own arrangement. The hotel will take rail travellers and their luggage to Bad Peterstal-Griesbach Railway Station.
