Hiking examples, alternative or shorter day tours are possible, also individual daily sections, comprehensive on-site information.

The sample hikes can be easily managed, no extreme ascents, max. 15 km, can usually be shortened.

Day 1: Arrival in Bad Griesbach

Arrival by car or rail to the hotel in Bad Griesbach (ca. 30 km southwest of Passau, can be reached via BAB A4), free parking at the hotel. When arriving by rail, collection from Karpfham Station.
Welcome sparkling wine, tour of the hotel.

Day 2: Tour of the Old Town and Auham circular route

Hike on the Old Town circuit to get to know Bad Griesbach (ca. 2 hours), in the afternoon the Auham circular route (ca. 2 hours), then a relaxing massage in First Beauty.

Day 3: St. Wolfgang hike

Hike to discover the wonderful nature, with special historical features on the circular route St. Wolfgang – Grongören (ca. 5-6 hours).

Day 4: Hochstraße hiking trail

Hiking on the Hochstraße circuit with special rock formations including Drache, Hohler Stein, Kultbrunnen (ca. 4-5 hours).

Day 5: Sightseeing, hiking or Nordic Walking

Today you can choose between different options.
A visit to Passau, the city of three rivers, or the baroque city of Schärding or
Obernberg am Inn or participation in the free Nordic Walking course or another activity on offer from the hotel or hike on the Höllten Valley circuit with Sternsteinhofhütten (ca. 2 hours).

Day 6: Return home or hike

Return home in the case of a 6-day package, otherwise hike on the Steinkart circular route (ca. 5-6 hours).

Day 7: Individual hike

Today an individual hike or daily section (suggestions in our travel documents or directly from the hotel).

Day 8: Departure

Return home, rail passengers will be brought to Karpfham station.
