Hiking – Weather – Economic crisis
Hiking is still up-to-date!
Nearly every week new hiking trails are presented, promotionally effective most called “Steige”, proofed by professionals, assessed and presented to the addicted audience of hikers.
This high variety of offers of new hiking possibilities occurs also a lot of problems. Before of adding a new hiking trail to our catalogue, we put it through a test, as well as the associated accommodations. First this means an extensive amount of work to us, but in practice this is well-proven and is also an advantage for you, our customers.
In the past few years the weather and the change in the climate are on the tip of everyone’s tounge. At good weather, beautiful hiking trails and wide views are rather bringing the enjoy factor of hiking. But unquestioned hiking trails have an attraction, whenever wafts of mist go through the landscapes and than these appear as mystical and imaginary.
Friends of hiking do not get impressed by the weather and the well-known saw: No bad weather is existing, only bad clothing this is a bit worn out, but is still hitting the nail on the head.
For over a year now, the World’s economical crisis has us permanently under control. Also the tourism section has not been untroubled and notices a changed customer behavior. In fact the crisis has not reached everyone until today, but has led to the point, that travels have at least been limited.
In opposition to the common trend we cannot complain about the closed season. Hiking trips abroad were less in demand, but bookings within Germany have distinctly raised and have led to a pleasant positive development.
Therefore we want to say thank you to all our customers
and are looking forward to the hiking season 2010 of good cheer and confidence.
